Classic OD Green Plastic Army Men - 40pc WW2 Soldier Figures

BMC Toys is proud to bring back an American classic with this bag of 40 OD green plastic army men, proudly manufactured in the United States. The set includes 10 different figures, and all your old favorites are here. The figures stand up to 2.5 inches tall and are approximately 1:29 scale, made from slightly flexible LDPE plastic with medium detail and some flashing.

Originally produced by LIDO in the mid-1950s, these classic army men were later produced by Joy Toy, TootsieToy, and Tim Mee Toy / Processed Plastic Company. Some of the figures are very similar to soldiers produced by Marx Toys, as Lido and Marx shared the same mold maker. The main difference is that these figures have the pineapple helmets depicting camouflage netting. These soldiers also predate the platform style of army men, making them easier to tip over in battle.

These are real plastic heroes, meant to be set up, knocked down, picked up, and played with for years to come. The LITTLE GREEN ARMY MEN have even been inducted into the National Toy Hall of Fame. Packed in a plastic bag with an insert card, this product is recommended for ages 5 and up.
