Plastic Army Men - 28pc Tan WW2 Soldier Figures

Tim Mee Toy, a renowned brand, has brought back some classic World War II troops to the delight of many. The set features a bag of 28 TanPlastic Army Men, proudly manufactured in the United States. This set boasts 11 different figures, including all the old favorites: Marching, Advancing with Bayonet, Overhead Bayonet, Grenade Thrower, Grease Gunner, Mine Sweeper, Machine Gunner, Radio Operator, Crawling with Rifle, Prone with Rifle, and Officer with Binoculars.

The figures are approximately 1:32 scale and stand up to 2.5 inches tall. They stand well on their own, except for the Radio Operator, which often needs to be propped up. The figures are made from slightly flexible LDPE plastic, with medium detail and some flashing.

These classic soldiers were originally produced in the 1950s by DK TOYS AND NOVELTIES, then possibly by APPLAUSE TOYS, followed by production in hard plastic for the hobby market, and then BMC Toys. Finally, they have come full circle, returning to Tim Mee Toy in 2023. While the figures are copies of the original Tim Mee Toy WW2 GI's from 1948, they are slightly smaller and have a little less detail. Interestingly, these figures are frequently misidentified as ELDON due to an error in a popular collector's book.

This set of real American-made plastic heroes is designed to be set up, knocked down, picked up, and played with for many years to come. The Little Green Army Men have even been inducted into the National Toy Hall of Fame, further solidifying their iconic status.

The Tim Mee Toy Classic Combat Soldiers come in a tan color and stand up to 2.5 inches tall, with a scale of approximately 1:32. The set is packaged in a polybag with an insert card and is recommended for ages 5 and up.
